Robomaster Robotics Competitions
The RoboMaster Robotics Competition, hosted by DJI, is a major student robotics tournament attracting participants from over 200+ universities. The event showcases the skills of students in an intense arena battle, witnessed by thousands of fans and millions of online viewers. Teams of rover-like robotic vehicles engage in cooperative skirmishes, emphasizing ranged attacks like a multiplayer first-person shooter game. Operators control the robots remotely using first-person view cameras as their only visual feedback. The objective is to dismantle opponents’ robots and disarm their base, with damage calculated through pressure-sensitive plates and projectiles launched from the robots. The competition integrates science and engineering disciplines, challenging teams to design and build robots with different tactical roles.
